An explosion of words.

I hate this feeling. The feeling you get when there's like a million things you want to say,but you just don't know where to start. If only all these words could be turned into pictures, life would be so much easier.

On another note,as Julius Caesar once said,

"Vēnī, vīdī, vīcī,"

We came,we saw,we conquered.

The battle is over, and we stride out with our heads up high,as we triumphed over the rest.

PBSM(the team i'm in) came out as the winners of the marching competition for the unit beruniform division >).I'm so proud of you guys.We were one of the underdogs, but we showed em huh?Congrats guys, you all deserved it.We gave it our all during that last performance, and man did it rock.

To the other teams,I take my hat off to you guys. You all did an awesome job, haha. The competition was a really close call this year though. It was impossible to predict who would come out as the champion. But in the end,we all emerged winners anyway. To me,winning isn't the most important thing. It's about giving it your all and learning something in the process.Getting 1st place is just like...an added bonus, something like getting 2 pay cheques in a month.nottomentionthesyokfeelingyouget

We all started out as strangers, but as the weeks passed by,we all got closer to each other through the sweat and tears we shed, after marching for hours on end in the condemned hot-as-hell sun and even in the rain. And not to mention sacrificing our skin, turning into chocolates, haha. The camaderie that was formed. That is one of the things I love about marching. It's a feeling you wouldn't understand unless you tried it for yourself. It's a feeling you'll never regret having, seriously.

And the main thing I love about marching is probably when we take the stage, haha. The feeling you get as everyone watches you, sweat trickling down your forehead,as you try your hardest not to screw up the formation, during that time which you'll be giving every ounce of spirit you have in you. It's an undescribable feeling, but you feel it when you know that you've definitely given everything you've got. It's a damn syok feeling haha >)

Lastly, thank you to everyone for doing your best.I'm gonna miss you guys haha.anddefinitelynotthepractices

Sigh, that's the end of another amazing thing to hit my life. The other being retiring from the school's Leo Club,=(. Why must things come to an end in life? Why must life be so cruel?I had some of the greatest times of my life in Leo.Especially during LLC 2007,haha. whichistillhavenotpostedareviewaboutandiprobablyneverwill

Congratulations to the new B.O.D's.I know you guys can take the club to the next level >).And kudos to the previous B.O.D's for everything you've done for the club.

With every end, comes a new beginning.

Didn't bring camera for sports day so no pictures >/.Hopefully,I can get my hands on some.

It's time.

In about 2 hours from now,the real battle will begin. All the torturous and strenous practices we've gone through will come to an end.Everything we've learned will be put to the test. The competition is rather tough this year.Even though the odds seem against us,we'll march on anyway, praying hard that it will work out,and that we will prevail in the end.

Buried beneath all the lies.

Bleh, tiring day.Had marching practice from 1 to 3 which wasn't pleasant at all.Started raining around 2,but we still marched on anyway xD.It got really heavy around 2.30,at which I danced in the rain for a while before taking shelter >).

Gonna be having practice every day after school for the next 7 days except on Sunday -.-.This is gonna be suck real hard. They're slave drivers, seriously.Well, hopefully we can win the competition this year. We're going all out this time,so I'll just hope for the best.

During English lesson, our "hot and sexy teacher" as quoted by Zhe Kai,made us do an activity. It was......amusing to say the least >).We all had to be "nice" for the day.Basically, she handed out A4 papers to everyone, and we were supposed to write our name down and pass it around the class.Everyone was supposed to write something nice about him/her.And man,I can tell you this,it.was.not.easy.at.all. xD I guess i'm just too evil to begin with.I had a hard time resisting giving sarcastic/mean/cynical comments >).

In the end,we got back all our masterpieces, and this is what mine looked like

Hahahaha,I wonder how much of it is true xD.

Kinda makes you wonder what everyone actually thinks about you doesn't it?Not to be cynical or anything >) .

Oh ya,was supposed to post this yesterday, but whatever.

Happy +coughnotcough+ birthday to the noob >).

Hope you won't be as noob after your sweet 16.

And also, happy birthday to the person who always-says-he-will-do-badly-in-his-exam-papers- but-always-does-so-well-in-the-end,my buddy Weng Hoe.

Dé·jà vu

School reoopens tomorrow, haha. Not the sweetest thing to happen.I always get this weird feeling everytime,on the last day of every long holiday. It's kinda hard to describe it.I guess I would have to say it's like.....

I don't want to leave the comforts of the holidays, but at the same time,I miss that nauseating yet nostalgic atmosphere that we can't seem to hate.

Miss seeing the familiar faces we always look at,the teachers rushing to their respective classrooms to make their students' lives a living hell with that devilish grin on their faces,(haha, just kidding, you know I love you teachers, well, some of them anyway.) and most importantly the friends, which without them, school just wouldn't be school anymore.

And of course, let's not forget the pile of books that we'll have to bring to school again,to read through them over and over and over, wishing we could just burn them whilst doing so.

I'm gonna have to work a lot harder this term to make up for the last, sigh.Let's just hope this term will be much better than the last.It is the final term of our high school years after all.

Anyway,

Dé·jà vu
Déjà vu (pronounced /ˈdeɪʒɑː ˈvuː/ (help·info); French /deʒa vy/ (help·info) "already seen"; also called paramnesia , from Greek παρα para, "near" + μνήμη mnēmē, "memory") is the experience of feeling sure that one has witnessed or experienced a new situation previously (an individual feels as though an event has already happened or has repeated itself).

Have you all ever gotten that feeling before? That feeling where like, you feel you've been in that situation before. The same atmosphere, the same people around you,the same expression on your face. When it happens,it's like, you can't help thinking at the back of your brain that you've experienced it before. It's creepy yet at the same time, gives you that feeling of intrigue.Sometimes I feel like I've dreamt about it before, but I won't recall it until it actually happens. It happens to me rather frequently if I have to say so myself.Maybe we actually have the ability to foresee the future without actually realising it? Hmm.Think Hiro Nakamura!
He can actually go into the future though >/.

Nothing more to be said.Time to make some sweet dreams.Maybe i'll be able to actually remember my 'predictions' this time. xD

On an utterly completely different note,

I feel like I can finally let go of these feelings.

Leo Forum 2008

....is what I should be posting about, but i'm lazy as hell to elaborate on the stuff
that happened. So i'll just talk about some of the interesting stuff.
I had my shares of laughter, and not forgetting the adrenaline-rushed dance floor moments.
Also,I miss waking up in my literally arctic cold freezing room. And of course the crazy moments with my roommates,Jun Hsien,Nicholas and the pro womanizer(damn him) Han Liang.
Our club only got like..10 awards?I think.Kind of disappointing. Those guys have a grudge on us
or something >/.We deserve better!

On the first night,I realised Malaysia actually has talent! No thanks to  the Leo Idol finalists -.-
Save a few of course.I'm talking about Dina, the 1st runner-up for the 1st season of Malaysian Idol.
She brought the house down with the songs Umbrella and No One,seriously.
They turned the place into a dance floor after the event ended, too bad I didn't stay.

On the second night, the food was freaking awesome. It's like the food served in those fancy
Chinese restaurants.Too bad I got full fast.
Then there were the auctions, probably one of the highlights of the night.Other than the Top award presentations of course.
We were given Leo Money throughout the forum to be used during the auctions. Our club bid like 19k for a RM30 digi reload card and a fruit basket, haha.
We were all like ......
At first, they told us the grand prize was worth RM 10,000.
We knew we didn't stand a chance with our current amount,so we combined with Assunta and PJI,and it still wasn't enough!
So we combined with other clubs from Region 7 &8,though I've forgotten which, sorry.
We bid a mind-blowing amount of 61k!
And the grand prize is.....

A donation of RM 10,000 to the China earthquake victims! LOL
We got owned. But at least we did some charity xD.Maybe karma will repay us in its own way.
Then after that, they turned the place into a dance floor again, and this time I stayed for a while.
Everyone was getting into the mood, dancing to the beat of Get Low,The Way I Are among others.

The last night kinda sucked.Security was tight as hell.Couldn't even have fun for the last time.

Then the next day,at the closing ceremony, during the Q&A session for the YE program (Youth Exchange),a heated debate followed. The contenders:
Lion Ivan and Clayton vs the people on the stage (no idea what their names are xD)

They couldn't even answer Lion Ivan's and Clayton's questions properly.Tsk
The commotion eventually died down.

The bus returning home arrived at around 4 p.m.
So we had about 4 hours of free time.
Once again, they turned the hall into a dance floor. But this time, nobody seemed
to care.

Jing scared the shit out of us with the mask he brought. And what was even scarier was when
Yong Hui wore it.Seriously,she.was.scary.
I'll post the picture later,hopefully.

We returned home with a heavy heart, wanting to stay even if its just a little longer.

That's about it.Reached home around 10 p.m. I don't even know why it took that long LOL.

Overall, the whole forum experience was different than expected.

Oh yeah, congrats to SMKDJ for getting the Top Leo President Award (Lee Keng). Some of you might know her xD.And also, congrats to SMK Assunta for getting the Top Leo Club Award.
The incoming noob president better work harder >) You know who you are.

I really need to update more often.
