Of ramblings and ventings.

Tick tock.
Time seems to be slipping so easily out of my hands, and I can't seem to stop it from doing so.It's just speeding by so fast, that I barely notice it passing me by.I think i'm being a little paranoid by saying this, but time seems to passing faster and faster every year.I wonder if I'm the only one feeling this, hmm.Maybe time actually has an acceleration, going faster and faster each year! (Okay,i've been doing too much physics.)

Trials in about a month, give or take. Then comes the big boss in another 2 months.I don't seem to be in my panic mode yet >/.Someone help meeee.

And now for some quotes to glorify the oh so wonderful thing we call time.

“You can't change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying about the future”

“Don’t count every hour in the day, make every hour in the day count.”

“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” - Steve Jobs (Apple co-founder)

“The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once.” - Albert Einstein

“Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't
own it, but you can use it. You can't keep
it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it
you can never get it back.” -HarveyMcKay

"But what minutes! Count them by sensation, and not by calendars, and each moment is a day." ~Benjamin Disraeli

Meaningful,no?

I feel like we're missing out on so much in this world, given the little time we have.I WANT MORE TIME,GIMME MORE TIME.

Sigh, guess i'll just have to be content with what I have right now.I can't wait till this whole overexaggerated SPM hype is over.I can almost smell the scent of me stripping naked and running through the streets once it's over.Okay,I won't do that,LOL.Too many innocent people will go blind.

On another note,

I'm sure most of you have heard the news about how Lin Miaoke (girl on the left) was lip-synching 'Ode to the Motherland' during the Olympics opening ceremony. And the reason the original singer,Yang Peiyi(girl on the right),wasn't onstage? No,it wasn't because she came down with a fever or had a last minute stomach ache.It was because she wasn't pretty enough.I was like, wtf, when I saw that.Like seriously, what kind of bullshit is this? And they even glorified Lin Miaoke to such an extent.

Discrimination like this pisses me off the most.Didn't they ever think about how Yang Peiyi felt? She must've been devastated when she was told that.Poor girl.I hope she doesn't grow up traumatized or something. And she's only 7 years old!Damned people these days, won't even go easy on a little girl's feelings.

This is like an insult to everyone watching the Olympics. The Olympics is supposed to be a sacred event, and things like this just tarnishes whatever grandeur it has.

The child on camera had to be flawless in looks, in her feelings and in her expression," he said.

Flawless? What the hell?Flawless is such an overrated word. There is no way to define perfection.Anything can be made to look perfect,if not almost. To me,portraying the truth is much more closer to perfection than giving us some fake. And all of this for their "national interest"?This is just another proof that the human mind is full of nothing but self-centered thoughts (no offense).

I have nothing against Lin Miaoke though, she looks like a sweet girl, and probably didn't really know what was going on.

This isn't the only time these kind of things happened.People get discriminated everyday for the way they look to the point that it's just sickening.I think everyone looks perfect in their own way.

What happened to the good ol' virtue of 'It's what's inside that counts'?

We need to start practicing what we preach.
